This is a cute little place on a corner in Kingston – we tried to have breakfast here one day, but they were full, so in our efforts to find somewhere new to eat after a haircut, we tried it for lunch. Which ends up being rather funny, because we both ordered breakfast since it was still available. The other reason for this is that there is not a huge vegetarian choice on the lunch menu, even if you ask them to do the dish without meat. However, I think the breakfast is great… I had scrambled eggs layered with hash browns and cheese, without the ham – and it was fantastic. The hash browns were fresh (not the icky frozen ones) and the rocket on top was perfect! Martin had fried eggs and fruit salad and he thought it was ok, but he didn’t think we would go back in a hurry… If I was going to Kingston for breakfast and there was a spare table, then I would eat there, but otherwise, I think I have to agree with him.
